Prof. Vishal Sardeshpande (adjunct professor CTARA, IIT Bombay and founder or SARVAAY solutions
Dr. Sardeshpande has 24 years of experience in energy efficiency, product development from idea to commercialization, thermal and energy system application engineering in formal and informal sectors.
He does application driven research where he integrates theory and practice, working from lab to industry scale.
He has demonstrated his technical and team-building skills for product development of solar concentrators for process heat application.
He has demonstrated his energy efficiency skills in ESCO (Energy Service Company) mode for industrial sectors like Paper, Textile, Oleo-chemical and Glass and data driven engineering analysis for packaging machines, boilers, cooling towers, compressed air etc.
He is working for MSMEs (Micro Small Medium Enterprises) in rural areas for improving their productivity and profitability through technology interventions and application engineering.
He authored more than 21 publications in internal journals and conferences and applied for 6 patents.
He is a Certified Energy Auditor from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India and has consulted more than 50 energy efficiency projects in different industrial sectors.
He has developed and installed Resource Efficient Jaggery Processing (REJP) Plants and Resource Efficient Turmeric Processing (RETP) Plants.
